Not so much
John F. Kennedy didn’t trust the CIA and was in the process of dismantling it before he was assassinated.
During the Carter administration it was a matter of common knowledge that the CIA was a “rogue elephant” and out of control.
Now the US news media is telling us we must trust the CIA.
Not so fast.
