Plastic in the Ocean

All this trash is a post WW II phenomenon so this is only 60 years worth of the stuff.

Plastic: another dubious “gift” from the oil petrochemical industry.

We don’t need it. We lived for millennia without it.

Glass, ceramics, and fiber works fine, is recyclable and renewable, and is safer for food than plastic.
