Bush Supporter Called Out on Hipocrysy

It’s hard to get away with lying when all your words are recorded on the internet.

On “Real Time with Bill Maher,” guest Chris Matthews claims that he was a critic of the war in Iraq during George Bush’s presidency.

Young Turks find recordings of MSNBC host Matthews proving this to be a lie: at that time Matthews called Bush “an effective commander,” saying that “we won the war.”

Of critics of the Iraq war, he said: “they’re carpers and complainers.”
