Debt slavery on steroids
How would you like to be responsible for the debts of your great grandfather?
That was the case in Old Tibet.
The average person couldn’t make a move without getting taxed for it.
Land ownership was limited to a handful of families and monasteries. Everyone else was a property-less serf tied to a land owner.
It’s nonsense to say Tibet was a peaceful place without an army. There was an internal army set up to keep the serfs in line.
“Noncritical adulation” – Whenever you see that, it’s a good idea to dig a little deeper.
