While we agree with Mellen’s assessment that the assassination of any president needs to be properly investigated (and John F. Kennedy’s was clearly not) we disagree with her assessment on Kennedy.
For example, it was reported by Mae Brussell that years after the assassination, Watergate “plumber” E. Howard Hunt who was implicated in the plot to kill Kennedy was caught forging documents that made it appear Kennedy was responsible for the assassination of Diem.
