The mischief maker in me could not resist this one.
It highlights the absurdity of the issue.
That it happened to be one of the #1 topics of political discourse in the last six months just shows how ridiculous things have become in the US. We love to go to topics that allow for maximum emotional grandstanding, not those that most urgently affect our lives. This is the shadow and damage of decades of political correctness–the water we swim in as Americans. Finger wagging and casting moral stain on another.
There is only one antidote and that is humor.
