By the way, there are over 4,000 oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Each platform can cost $100 million or more.
The Brazilians and Norwegians have technology that prevents the kind of spill now destroying the Gulf of Mexico fishery.
The US doesn’t require that this technology be used in US waters. Obvious question: Why the f*** not?
