A fundamental question about agriculture
Agriculture – a good thing or a bad thing?
Don’t answer too quickly.
Eating a good thing. Reliable food is a good thing.
But what about an agriculture system that is built entirely around a handful of commodity grain crops?
And where the heck did these particular plants come from?
They’re clearly a “product.” Who made them? And why?
They definitely made modern civilization possible, but did they make human life better?
Just asking…
