Missing – 10 million Mayans
Re-discovered: 40 cities, 15 million people
Misplaced in just 1,000 years
We learn history in school and we assume it’s more or less accurate.
We should think again.
It’s been recently discovered that the Mayan world had 40 cities and 15 million people, up from the original estimate of just 5 million.
What’s so remarkable is that these cities and the people who occupied them were “misplaced” for the historical record in just 1,000 years ago.
Additional, the “rediscovery” process has only just begun there are still thousands of square miles that have not been properly surveyed.
What do we know about ancient history?
Apparently not a whole lot.
