The Market Street Police Riot:
Step by Step
Banner holder
While the crowd of cyclists was stalled on Market Street, this young man unfurled a banner. A police officer brought him over to a police car in the middle of the street to cite him.
Seconds later when the police riot began, this man was assaulted by another police officer even though he was standing passively exactly where the first police officer told him to. No citation was written for him.
